By donating a Weighted Phoenix Bears Hospital Kit, you can help bring some comfort to a newly bereaved mama before she even leaves the hospital. We know that a bear is not a replacement for her baby, however, it can bring her some comfort when she needs it most. She will leave holding the weight of her precious baby in her arms, a weighted Phoenix Bear. She will also know that she is not alone.
Our kits are unique and include 2 bears, one small and one large. The nurse will weight the bear to the baby’s weight (quick and easy with our unique system) and will also provide the mama with a pamphlet that includes ideas of things she can do with / for her baby while she has her baby with her. This can help lessen regrets after leaving the hospital.
The nurse will also give her baby a tiny teddy bear from this kit, gifted to the baby, for the baby, because every baby deserves a teddy bear of their own. A little bear snuggled up with baby makes for some beautiful pictures. Later, this bear can be sent with baby to burial or cremation, or mama can bring it home as a precious keepsake belonging to her baby.
Your baby’s name will be included on a special tag that will be around the neck of both the large bear and the small bear. This tag will let the mama know who this bear was donated in memory of (your baby).
