Prayer
No matter how busy we are, no matter how many or few we have helped, we are in desperate need of prayer – please pray that God uses Phoenix Bears to comfort and bless those who have lost precious babies.

Seamstress
Getting these bears ready is beary time consuming, and we need help! If you are skilled with a sewing machine (and own your own), have a smoke free environment to work in and keep the items in, and would like to donate your time and sewing skills to sew inserts and/or blankets, please reach out to us at info@phoenixbears.org
Cut Inserts
We need help cutting flannel inserts for our weighted Phoenix Bears. If you have some new (unused and clean odor free) Flannel material, a good pair of scissors, and some time on your hands, please let us know. We could really use the help! Please contact us at info@phoenixbears.org

- Donate a Phoenix Bear in memory of your baby – This will be a fully personalized (weighted and embroidered) Phoenix Bear that will be donated to the next bereaved mama on our grant waitlist. It will include a card with your child’s name, birthday, and the day your child passed away (if different days). - Donate a Phoenix Bear in honor of or in memory of a loved one – This will be a fully personalized (weighted & embroidered) Phoenix Bear that will be donated to the next bereaved mama on our grant waitlist. It will include a card with your name or the name of someone you are donating it in honor of or in memory of (anyone you want to donate in memory of). We will also email you a printable certificate acknowledging the donation (with the name of the person it was made in honor/memory of). Click here to learn more!
- Donate flannel material – if you have flannel material laying around or if you find a good sale on flannel, we will gladly accept any amount of flannel material. It doesn’t matter the color or the pattern as it is used for inserts that will be inside the bear and not seen by the recipient. It does need to be new (never used), clean, odor free, stain free, and from a smoke free environment. Please email us at info@phoenixbears.org to get the mailing address to ship the flannel to, or if you are local to Tomball, TX we can meet up.
- Donate crocheted or knitted hats and blankets – If you are skilled at crocheting or knitting and want to help Phoenix Bears out with donations please let us know! We are accepting donations of micro preemie, preemie, and newborn size baby hats with teddy bear ears (to be donated to the hospital for the babies who pass away). Hats can be brown, tan, white, pastel pink, or pastel blue. We are also accepting donations of small blankets to be attached to Phoenix Bears (you can include a matching bow that can be used as a small bow on the bear’s head or a small bowtie for the bear). Blankets should be in pastel colors. Can be gender specific or gender neutral. All yarn and finished products must be from a smoke free environment. Please email us at info@phoenixbears.org to get a free pattern for baby hats with teddy bear ears, to find out what sizes we are needing at this time, and to get the mailing address to ship your finished products to. Please be sure each item is complete and does not need ends sewn in or any finishing touches.
- Donate brand new baby clothes – We are accepting brand new (and odor free) onesies and one or two piece outfits (kimono side snap style to reduce friction on baby’s delicate skin). Sizes needed are micro-preemie, preemie, and newborn (though not many needed in this size). These should be white, or other calm colors (blue or pink are ok but gender neutral is even better). Please no bright colors, bold patterns, or sayings on them and no pale yellow. These clothing items will be donated to the hospital for babies who pass away and don’t have clothes to be dressed in (like our baby boy, Phoenix). Sometimes bereaved parents don’t have baby clothes in their baby’s size, or they are too devastated and in shock to think about packing an outfit or even asking someone to bring one up to the hospital. This happened to us. We did have a friend text and offer to bring up a crocheted bereavement gown for our precious Phoenix to have something to wear & we are thankful.
