Your mental health is very important and we do not wish to cause you unneeded distress. We ask detailed questions to weed out people who try to take advantage of the baby loss community, who did not lose their baby but are trying to get something for “free” that is meant for those who have experienced this tragic loss and are struggling financially.

🧸 If you would like a Phoenix Bear but can not afford one, please fill out this form. Submitting this form does not guarantee you will be approved, but it is the first step. 📧📲 After submission, your form will be reviewed and your references will be contacted (you must provide 2 w/ name, email, and phone number to text). If you are then approved, we will email you to let you know and you will be added to the Phoenix Bears Grant Waitlist.
👼 Applicants must be a bereaved parent who lost a baby. 🧸 Applicants must not have a weighted comfort bear representing this specific angel baby (from us or anyone else). 🐻 Applicants must be members of our Phoenix Bears Facebook Group (if you are not, go to Facebook and join our group before applying).
💸 We offer partial grants all the way up to full grants. ⌚ We do not have an estimated time for you to remain on the waitlist. If you are approved, you will be added to the bottom of the waitlist. Anyone on the waitlist will move up in line as the people in front of you get their grants fulfilled. We can only fulfill grants when we receive donations toward the Phoenix Bears Grant Fund. You will remain on the waitlist until funds become available to fulfill your order and your spot is next in line.
📧 We will email you an update when your funds are covered. 📆 At that time, you will have one week to reply and confirm your desire to move forward and receive your personalized Phoenix Bear. If we do not hear back from you within one week, you will be placed back a spot on the waitlist & the funds will go to the next person in line. You would then be next in line for the next funds that come in for the grant fund, but you will need to wait until it is fulfilled again.
🧸 Your base bear will be chosen for you at random according to the weight of your baby and the available base bears in stock, though if we have the color bear you requested, we will choose one of that color. If we don’t, we will choose whatever color is available at that time. ⚖️ Your bear will be weighted to your baby’s weight and will include a blanket attached via magnetic snap (not for ages under 3). 👼 Your bear will not include angel wings or embroidery.
